Ukaine in Arabic | There ‘s no place for fascism in Ukraine

KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ President Petro Poroshenko emphasized this during a ceremony of honoring the victims of Babyn Yar. He stressed that "only united Ukraine can win over the risks and threats that it is facing."

Speaking of the lessons of the Babyn Yar tragedy, the President noted that this day is a reminder to the world how dangerous the war is, how necessary is to appreciate peace.

"Ukraine will never allow restoration of fascism, ethnic persecution mand partition of the country by language, faith or any other signs. Ukraine is united and will remain united," he said.

"Today, in this holy place, Ukraine and Kyiv remind to the world how dangerous ethnic hatred is," Poroshenko said.

The President laid flowers to the monument of those, executed by the Nazis at Babyn Yar. The participants paid tribute to the victims of the shooting by a moment of silence. The ceremony was also attended by Parliament Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk, Head of the Presidential Administration Borys Lozhkin, Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Volodymyr Shandra, representatives of the Presidential Administration, the government, the public, the clergy.

On behalf of the President, flowers were also laid to the monument of Menorah, a memorial cross to members of the underground Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and places, commemorating the victims of the Holocaust of Roma.
