US President Donald Trump's National Security Advisor, John Bolton laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance for the Victims of Russia-Ukraine War in Eastern Ukraine.
“It is a great honor for me to pay tribute to the sacrifice made by Ukrainians,” Bolton said, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The United States respects the spirit of unity that Ukrainians have shown in the struggle and have fallen defending the independence of Ukraine, Trump's national security advisor added. According to him, the people of the United States fought for their independence and sovereignty so they understand what this struggle means.
“We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. It is an honor for me and Ambassador Taylor to be here today at this ceremony,” he concluded.
