The tariff for electricity for the population will not change until the end of the year, - Buslavets
The price of electricity for the population will remain unchanged. This was stated by Acting head of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine Olga Buslavets, BusinessCensor reports with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.
"Our tariff for the population remains the same this year, as in the previous year, and there is no need to worry the population. There are different statements, but we must say that the population receives electricity at a constant price," Buslavets said.
As reported, the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities (NKREKU) proposes to abolish the current tariff for the population for the first 100 kWh of electricity from January 1, 2021.
According to NKREKU's calculations, this decision will allow to receive additional 12 billion hryvnias a year.
