The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has unveiled the new 1000-hryvnia paper currency and officially publishes its image on its official website and in the media.
The new category is due to enter into circulation in Ukraine starting Oct. 25, the first new cash category in 13 years after 500 hryvnia were issued in 2006 and remains the strongest to date.
