The terror of the Russian authorities against the citizens of Ukraine, who defend their right to freedom of religion and freedom of speech, will continue as long as Crimea remains under occupation.
So the People's Deputy, the delegate of Kurultay of the Crimean Tatar people Rustem Umerov commented on today's raid of the Russian FSB on the Crimean Tatars in the Crimea temporarily occupied by Russia.
Umerov noted that Russia must stop its illegal actions on the territory of Ukraine. The aggressor state must also withdraw its armed forces from the temporarily occupied territories, including militants from private military companies.
Until this happens, until all the occupied territories of Ukraine return under the full control of the Ukrainian state, international political and economic pressure on Russia will not only be fully maintained, but will be intensified, - he stressed.
The deputy added that the Russian Federation should also ensure the judicial responsibility of persons involved in illegal actions in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
