Poroshenko will visit United States next month
The Head of State hopes that his meeting with Donald Trump, who will be sworn in as the 45th U.S. President Jan 20, will take place in Washington in February, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Petro Poroshenko has scheduled a visit to the United States next month, The Wall Street Journal reported. The Ukrainian president said he hoped for the support of the incoming U.S. administration. Ukraine has been enjoying strong bipartisan support of the United States over the years since the Revolution of Dignity, the president told WSJ.
The Head of State said he is "absolutely sure that the continuation of our cooperation with the United States will be very effective."
As was known earlier, the reports came January 17 that Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with Donald Trump agreed.
