Digital Transformation Ministry initiates creation to fund Ukrainian startups.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation intends to create one more fund to finance Ukrainian startups.
In a post on Facebook, the ministry wrote: "Among the projects on promoting the IT market development may be the Fund of funds that will support domestic startups”.
The ministry noted that the government’s focus on the IT sector development can significantly accelerate the growth of Ukrainian economy. According to officials, it will help to create new jobs, develop innovations, attract investments, and improve the business climate.
in July 2019, the Government of then Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman presented the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
On December 2, 2019, the Ukrainian Startup Fund began accepting applications for grants.
