Clashes in Nusaybin in south eastern Turkey

Police fired tear gas as clashes broke out in the south eastern Turkish district of Nusaybin. They happened after a group of deputies from the pro-Kurdish HDP party tried to enter several districts in the area A 24-hour-curfew is in force preventing people from leaving their homes. It was brought in because of fighting between security forces and the terrorist Kurdistan Workers Party the PKK which has been ongoing for 10 days.
