Ambassador of Ukraine to Kuwait participates at medical workshop
the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Kuwait Dr. Oleksandr Balanutsa participated in the opening ceremony of the medical workshop on “Koziavkin method” of cerebral palsy treatment of children today.
The seminar was organised by Vivus Medical Rehabilitation Company (UAE) in collaboration with Kuwait Life Sciences Company (“KLSC”) and with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Kuwait.
During the event “Kozyavkin Method” was introduced to Kuwait with the aim of establishing a specialized rehabilitation clinic using the experience of the similar clinics in Ukraine and UAE, in order to satisfy the New Kuwait 2035 National Development Plan of improving the quality of healthcare services in the country.
The conference was attended by H.E. Sheikha Sheikha Al Abdallah Al-Sabah, Honorary President of Kuwait Handicapped Club, Dr. Fawaz Al Refaee, Assistant Undersecretary for Healthcare Support at the the Ministry of Health, as well as major healthcare stakeholders and key opinion leaders from MOH, the Kuwait Handicapped Club and the General Authority of People with Special Needs, who expressed interest and support in establishing a specialized clinic in Kuwait.
