UPL condemns the racism in Ukrainian stadiums
Ukrainian Premier League strictly condemns any manifestations of racism in and outside our stadiums and calls for tolerance
In recent years, the eradication of racism, discrimination and intolerance in football has become a priority for UEFA. The European Football Union widely uses all the means in order to firmly say: “No to racism.”
UPL fully stands in solidarity with the European Football Union and categorically condemns any manifestations of racism in and outside the stadiums of Ukraine.
UPL deeply regrets the incident that occurred during the match between Shakhtar and Dynamo on November 10th in Kharkiv. This incidence shows that we have to strengthen the dialog with the clubs in order to avoid such incidents in the future. UPL trusts that the competent disciplinary body will investigate this case with the necessary priority and will sanction all involved persons according to the applicable laws and regulations.
