Ukranian FC Shakhtar draws with Man City in UCL
Shakhtar Donetsk have played out a 1-1 draw with Manchester City in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
The match took place at the City of Manchester Stadium on Tuesday, November 26.
Goals were scored by Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan in the 56th minute and by Shakhtar striker Manor Solomon in the 69th minute.
A draw was enough for Manchester City to reach the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
In another Group C match, Italy's Atalanta beat Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 at San Siro in Milan.
Manchester City collected 11 points from five games, Shakhtar has six points, Dinamo Zagreb five points, and Atalanta four points.
Shakhtar Donetsk will face Atalanta in their final Champions League group stage match in Kharkiv on December 11, whereas Dinamo will take on Manchester City in Zagreb.
