Svitolina now closes the top eight, whereas another Ukrainian, Dayana Yastremska, climbed four spots to 24th, according to the tennis portal btu.org.ua.
The top 100 also includes Lesia Turenko (No. 71) and Kateryna Kozlova (No. 84).
Australian tennis player Ashleigh Barty tops the table.
Marta Kostyuk (No. 150) climbed 12 spots in the latest rating update, whereas Anhelina Kalinina (No. 189) lost 14.
