Last year, Ukraine exported 134 262 tonnes of poultry meat to the EU. This is 8.6% more than in 2018.
Only Brazil and Thailand were ahead of Ukraine, exporting 313.6 and 308.6 thousand tonnes of poultry meat in 2019, respectively.
Ukraine is also the third largest export destination for poultry meat from EU countries. In 2019, European producers exported 178,619 tonnes of poultry meat to Ukraine, up 0.3% from a year earlier.
More meat products from the EU were shipped to Ghana and the Philippines only.
