The Ukrainian Parliament has voted to label Russia an aggressor state during an emergency session on January 27. During the session, 271 of 289 MPs voted in favour.
The parliament also voted to label the so-called Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic terrorist organisations. The decision was made in response to calls by requests by the international community to label the militant groups before other countries could make similar designations.
