"Today, we initiated criminal proceedings under Article of the Criminal Code (high treason) against two officers of the counterintelligence for desertion to the side of the Russian-backed militants," he said.
"We will refute any criminal evidence or interview they provided, as people who have betrayed the Ukrainian people, and the punishment for them will be unavoidable," Nalyvaichenko said.
