Ukraine in Arabic | Ukraine doesn’t recognize the treaty between Russia and Abkhazia
KYIV/Ukraine in Arabic/ Ukraine condemns the signing of a treaty on alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and unrecognized Abkhazia and reiterates support for the territorial integrity of Georgia.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said this at a briefing on Tuesday.
"Ukraine condemns and doesn't recognize the signing of this document. This step is another evidence of Russia ignoring international law, as well as a deliberate provocation aimed at destabilizing the situation in the Black Sea region. It threatens peace and security in all of the European space," he said.
According to him, Ukraine that is currently suffering from Russia's aggressive actions also confirms its full support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and calls on the democratic world to take decisive steps to prevent Russia from further destruction of the system of international security and law.
