UIA plans to hold transatlantic flights this summer. Kiev/Ukraine in Arabic/ Ukraine Today has informed that UIA plans to hold transatlantic flights this summer. Ukraine International Airlines have won the right to fly to Canada after the Ukrainian airline passed the aviation safety audit by the Transport Ministry of Canada, according to a UIA press release.
The Canadian transport ministry verified that the airlines' documents on safety are in line with the International Civil Aviation Organization.
UIA plans to run transatlantic flights from Kyiv to Toronto starting from this summer.
Ukraine International Airlines was founded in 1992 and is the largest Ukrainian airline. Its fleet consists of 37 aircraft.
