Ukraine in Arabic | Rising cost of travelling by metro in Kiev is expected to be on February
Kiev/ Ukraine in Arabic/ The head of underground in Kiev Victor Braginskyi hopes, that authorities will make decision about rising cost of travelling of passengers from February. According to UNIAN, he said about it on Tuesday, 20 of January, to journalists. Answering the question about when will be new tariff of travelling, he said that now is he process of approval of needed instruction of KSCA.
“The instruction will be from 1 to 10 of February, about time from 15 of February we don’t know”, the head of underground have said.
Braginskyi once again highlighted, that the rising of cost of travelling is because of necessity, as for development it will be very hard to work one more year in mode of rough economy.
He reported that in this year budget of Kiev haven’t provided for compensation to underground transporting of beneficiaries. “Without support of the city and without our own possibilities to get profit to support underground in working state, it will be very hard to work”, - Braginskyi have said.
According to his words, there are no talks about delaying of new tariffs
Answering the question about considering of underground to gain credit in 2015 to take care of its work, he said that there is no planning of that.
“Because underground can not gage anything, because we are sensitive facility. Secondly, there is such an interest…, and underground is in critical financial condition, so engage “expansive” money and also excising loan burden, - we will not servive”, - Braginskyi have explained.
Earlier, first deputy head of KSCA Igor Nikonov declared, that cost of travelling will be not higher than 4 UAH.
