Russia obstructs settlement of the situation in Donbass - USA in the OSCE
The settlement of the conflict in Donbass depends primarily on the political will of the Kremlin, which is just throwing words to the wind and obstructing peace talks.
This was stated by the US Permanent Representative to the OSCE James Gilmore during a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna, Ukrinform reports.
Today, the crisis requires humanitarian and security measures, which were repeatedly voiced in the Minsk agreements, at last year's Normandy summit and monthly in the Tripartite Contact Group. Instead, we see nonsense from Russia and its puppets, and then obstructionism limited progress in achieving goals, such as demining, "Gilmore said.
The American diplomat also pointed out the importance of opening additional checkpoints, new breeding areas and mutual exchange of detainees.
