There are two main periods for holding Earth Days: in March (closer to the spring equinox) and on April 22. In addition, at present, many ordinary participants and initiative groups plan and conduct a number of events for the Earth Day closer to the time of the summer solstice in order to make the most of the warm weather and people's free time.
