Students have become the major factor of inflation in the sector. "Every year in the high season, residential lease rises in price primarily for housing located along subway lines and around educational institutions. But even in the most remote areas of the capital, without subway, the rent of a one-room apartment with favorable conditions starts from UAH 7,000 US$279" the Ukrainian news service said on August 27.
