First Lady visited Ukrainian Secondary School in Latvia

First Lady Olena Zelenska together with Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba visited Riga Ukrainian Secondary School during the official visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the Republic of Latvia.

First Lady Olena Zelenska together with Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba visited Riga Ukrainian Secondary School during the official visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the Republic of Latvia.

This school is the only educational institution in Latvia where schoolchildren can learn Ukrainian language at a professional level.

The President's wife inspected the classrooms, spoke with students and educators and signed the Distinguished Visitors Book.

First Lady joined the President of Ukraine and took part in the flower-laying ceremony to the monument to Taras Shevchenko and meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian community of Latvia after visiting the Riga Ukrainian School.

The presidential couple also visited the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia and together with President of the Republic of Latvia Egils Levits and First Lady of Latvia Andra Levita honored the memory of those deceased for independence of this country by laying flowers at the Freedom Monument.
