Crimean Majlis demands to respond to Kremlin’s attempt to legalize annexation

Chubarov also remembered the visit of Russian officials from occupied Crimea to India at the end of February

The head of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis Refat Chubarov demands the reaction of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to the last visit of the Russian ministers of the annexed Crimea to the United Arab Emirates. He noted that he wants to see obstacle tools for diplomatic crimes.

Chubarov also remembered the visit of Russian officials from occupied Crimea to India at the end of February. In his opinion, such "the active promotion by Moscow of relations with India and the UAE, the recognition of the de facto attempt to annex the Crimea, gives its results during the vote at various international venues, including the UN."

“So, on December 18, 2020, when the UN General Assembly considered the resolution on“ The situation with human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol ”, the Indian delegation voted against, and the UAE delegation abstained. I hope that we will hear the position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine regarding systematic and effective counteraction to attempts by Russian diplomacy in breaking through the international isolation of the temporarily occupied Crimea, ”Chubarov wrote on Facebook.
