Consulate of Kazakhstan opened in Kharkiv

In the best years, trade between the countries reached $ 6 billion

The Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan opened in Kharkiv on Saturday, February 15, UNN reports, citing the press service of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Samat Ordabaev and the first deputy chairman of the HODA Vitaliy Pogosyan.

"I have been working in Ukraine since 2016. And one of the first tasks for me was to open an honorary consulate in such a powerful region as Kharkiv region," said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Samat Ordabaev.

He noted that relations between Kazakhstan and Ukraine have always been friendly. In the best years, trade between the countries reached $ 6 billion. The First Deputy Chairman of the HODA Vitaliy Poghosyan congratulated the international partners on behalf of the Head of the region Alexei Kuchera.

"It is really important for us that the Kharkiv region has become the region where the Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan is opened today. I am convinced that we have a great potential for developing, first of all, economic relations, as well as cooperation in the field of science and education," - said Vitaliy Poghosyan.
