About 47 thousand soldiers will vote at the presidential elections in the zone on special stages
The Central Election Commission expects that about 47 thousand Ukrainian military personnel who perform tasks in the area of the Joint Forces Operation in the Donbass will be able to vote in the presidential elections in Ukraine at the polling stations specially created for them.
"The approximate number of persons who will take part in the vote at such polling stations is 47,000," he said, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
Verbenskiy reiterated 80 such polling stations had been created, of which 46 were small, 30 were medium and four were large ones.
He also said the protocols of election commissions from the polling stations and other documents would be transferred to the relevant district election commissions in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
