"More than 11 million pensioners live in Ukraine: 70% of them receive pensions up to UAH 3,000, which is lower than the actual minimum subsistence level," Deputy Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Natalia Neniuchenko said in a video address posted on Facebook page of the Ministry of Social Policy.
The payments to about 1 million people are even lower and amount to UAH 1,500 a month, she specified.
