279 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in Kyiv
Over the past 24 hours, the number of people living with coronavirus has increased by another 12 people. One person died. The mayor of the capital Vitaly Klitschko announced this during an online press conference.
“The number of people living with coronavirus has increased by 12 in the past 24 hours. Of these, four are children. And one health worker. One case in the past day is lethal. There are already 279 confirmed cases of Covid-19 disease in the capital, ”Klitschko said.
He noted that three women between the ages of 34 and 41 became ill and two girls were three years old. And also five men - from 31 to 67 years. And two boys, six and fifteen. One man, 36, died.
“For the life of the man, doctors of the Alexander Hospital fought for almost two weeks. It was connected to the ECMO apparatus - blood oxygen saturation. But the man was very impressed with his lungs. So it was not possible to save him, ”the mayor of Kiev said.
Two patients were hospitalized from Kiev who had Covid-19 last day. The other 10 are treated at home, on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
