Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said that 1122 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the capital, 63 new cases of coronavirus disease in a day.

According to a UNIAN correspondent, he said this during an online briefing. "The number of people in Kyiv who confirmed laboratory coronavirus disease in the past 24 hours has increased by another 63 people, three of them doctors," he said.

"In total, there are 1,122 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kiev," Klitschko added. According to the mayor, among those who fell ill: 22 women aged 21 to 82 years and 35 men - 18 to 87 years, as well as 6 boys aged 6 to 14 years. 20 patients were hospitalized in the hospitals of the capital. Others are treated for self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors. According to the mayor of Kiev, 8 people have recovered in the past 24 hours. In total, 53 Kiev residents were healed from COVID-19.
