Iran is ready to pay compensation to the families of those killed in the UIA disaster

Iranian authorities announced their readiness to pay compensation to the families of victims of the UIA plane crash.
This was reported in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
It is noted that this issue was discussed by the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Canada, Mohammad Javad Zarif and Francois-Philippe Champagne.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran has already informed Ukraine of its readiness to resolve legal issues in the manner of paying compensation to the families of passengers who died as a result of the tragic incident, as well as paying compensation for the Ukrainian airliner,” the statement said.
At the same time, Zarif said that Ukraine has not yet appointed a delegation to conduct negotiations.
Earlier it became known that Iran intends to send black boxes of a downed UIA plane to France for decryption in the coming days.
