Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada Andriy Shevchenko said that Iran agreed to hand over to Ukraine "black boxes" of a passenger plane of UIA, which was shot down near Tehran on January 8.

Shevchenko wrote about this on his Twitter page.

According to him, the representative of Iran Farhad Parvaresh at the ICAO Council in Montreal announced the agreement of official Tehran to transfer the flight recorders.
